Magni-Rack

At left is this buck at 1 1/2 years old.  At right is the same buck at 2 1/2 years old.  At first glance this deer would never pass as a 2 1/2 and was shot with the assumption that he was an older deer based on antler mass and body size.

Here is the deer when harvested.  The final gross score was 138 5/8" with 5" H1 measurements and 5 1/2" H3 measurements.  Absolutely not typical of a buck at 2 1/2 years old in this area.  The age was determined by an independent taxidermist based on tooth wear.

MAGNI-RACK is a foliar applied mixture that is sprayed onto vegetation and supplies the growing forage with key antler building nutrients. Plants actively transport MAGNI-RACK into and throughout the growing forage making it more nutritious and palatable to the animals that eat it. With the plant actively moving Magni-Rack into its tissue, the mineral will be present in higher levels for weeks to months depending on how heavily the crop is grazed. MAGNI-RACK supplements forage with several key minerals that are essential in overall deer health and antler and bone development. MAGNI-RACK also provides a number of key minerals that are essential for building cartilage. Cartilage is one of the primary components of growing antlers and is largely determinant to how large the antlers will be in the fall. MAGNI-RACK supplements Boron, Copper, Iron, Manganese, Magnesium, Sulphur, and Zinc. All of these are essential components of growing plants and are key elements in everyday bodily functions in animals. These minerals are essential for optimum deer health. Healthier deer grow larger antlers.MAGNI-RACK is very easy to use, simply mix it with water and spray on growing food plots or crops. Deer often will begin to browse heavily on the treated forage sometimes within hours of application. In addition to attracting deer, MAGNI-RACK will also help the treated vegetation grow thicker, fuller, and healthier creating significantly more nutritious forage. Better forage creates better antler quality. It is suggested to apply MAGNI-RACK 3 times a growing season. One application in the spring at green up, once in midsummer, and once in late summer to early fall. If MAGNI-RACK is applied to clover or alfalfa, it is suggested to apply at green up after each cutting. A minimum of 4 to six inches of fresh growth should be present before treatment. MAGNI-RACK should be applied at a rate of 1 pound per acre per application. 1 pound should be mixed with a minimum of 3 gallons of water. More water will not adversely affect the application. No more than 2 pounds to the acre should be applied in any single application. MAGNI-RACK and MAGNI-CAL cannot be mixed or applied at the same time. Because the ingredients in MAGNI-RACK are so reactive, they immediately precipitate out the calcium in MAGNI-CAL and make the entire solution ineffective. This is why there are two products aimed at supplementing antler magnifying nutrients.
